It's difficult to know where to start writing this review.
I had my 60th birthday celebrations weekend here in the second week of July, it was a total surprise for me, so I had no idea where I would be staying (all I knew is that I was going to Barmouth) so when I had my blindfold taken off me as I got in the hallway I was gobsmacked.
The house is over 5 levels (I think!) we had family and friends and some dogs staying and there is just so much space to move around with absolutely everything you could wish for or need to have the most perfect celebrations.
The view out of our bedroom window to the beach was a delight.
The kitchen was the focal point, probably says more about my family and friends :) but had a big island and so many plates glasses that I've ever seen in one house.
The dining room at the front of the house had a big table that fitted us all in and certainly made the fish and chip dinner a joy with no seagulls able to nick off us.
Downstairs is a basement with a pool table and cinema room that was lovely and cool in the heatwave we had while we we there and were certainly well used by everyone.
The lounge on the first floor is magnificent and when we watched England beat Norway in the WC QF we had room to dance with joy at the final whistle.
The bedrooms are all beautifully decorated and were set up in advance for our group.
Plenty of bathrooms and toilets so there was never any issues with anyone waiting for either.
Absolute wonderful place and we hope to go back as Barmouth has so much to offer.

Wow what an amazing place, amazing location with everything you need, a home from home, as a large family we had a great weekend away and will have great memories forever thank you. Also communication from start to finish with Liz was fantastic.

Traditionally, every two years we hire a family house for a holiday together, and this year’s trip was one we will never forget. With 10 adults and 4 children all under one roof, we were looking for somewhere spacious, comfortable, and special , and this holiday house exceeded every expectation.
The property itself was absolutely perfect: a stunning six-floor beachfront home with incredible space throughout. Every main room was large enough to comfortably accommodate our whole gamily , making it ideal for spending quality time together without ever feeling crowded. The additional features made the stay even more enjoyable, especially the private cinema room and the fantastic man cave complete with a pool table.
We were also incredibly lucky with the weather. The hot sunshine allowed us to enjoy beautiful walks, spend time on the beach, watch the storms rolling across the sea, and relax together throughout the week. Whether we were sharing meals, enjoying the stunning surroundings, or simply spending time together, every moment felt special.
This holiday was filled with laughter, fun, and unforgettable memories. The house provided the perfect setting for bringing the whole family together, and it is a trip we will all treasure for many years to come.

Fully recommend popping into The Pink Cow for their amazing homemade ice cream ,definitely worth a visit! Next door to that, there’s also a quirky little cider, gin and ale bar with a great atmosphere and plenty of character.

Wow wow wow !! What can I say ? This place was absolutely fantastic ! The silent disco just made the weekend ! How amazing , we laughed and laughed. The location is fantastic , right by the beach , restaurants , arcade , fair, but just enough away that it’s not noisy. The house was spotless , super clean , bedding was super comfy. Honestly I can’t recommend this place enough. Roll on the summer when we return !! Liz the host was always contactable and couldn’t do enough for us.

We had the most amazing girls weekend here. The house is absolutely gorgeous and full of such a beautiful vibe and energy from the moment you walk in. It was spotlessly clean, spacious and felt so welcoming for our whole group.
The location is perfect, just a short walk to the beach where we even did beach yoga which was incredible. There are also lovely cocktail bars and chip shops nearby which made the weekend feel really fun and easy. Everything around is reasonably priced which is such a bonus.
The house has so much character and so many perfect spaces to relax, connect and make memories together. We genuinely could not have picked a better place for a girls trip.

Myself and my family had the most amazing stay at The Belmont Barmouth. The house was perfect and had everything we needed. We had a holiday we ll never forget, we made memories we will cherish, and we can’t thank Liz for all her help beforehand to get everything sorted. Would absolutely recommend ⭐️✨🌟

Belmont House is a fantastic holiday home and wonderful place to get together with a large group. Our family had a brilliant stay, making full use of the incredible basement games room and den. The house has great communal spaces to come together, luxurious bathrooms and loads of beautiful large bedrooms with sea views. The house is right on the beach, and well located beside the town. We enjoyed the lovely shops and all the town has to offer. It was a brilliant holiday house and we’ll definitely be back!
The WOW factor doesn't really do the Belmont justice. Fantastic house, beautifully restored to show it in all its glory.

Had a wonderful stay at this beautiful beachfront house. The location couldn’t be better, just steps from the sand with stunning sea views. The house is extremely spacious, clean, and thoughtfully designed, with plenty of room for everyone to relax and lots of attention to detail to the decor. The beds were incredibly comfortable, with large bedrooms and the kitchen was well-equipped with everything we needed. It’s the perfect place for a coastal getaway!

A stunning, spacious home in an amazing location central to Barmouth. Ideal for catering for large groups with plenty of bedrooms, bathrooms and toilets on every floor. The kitchen is fully kitted out with everything we needed. We really felt right at home straight away. Shout-out to the hosts for their amazing attention to detail - everything from the bedding to the scent diffusers at the entrance of the home. Location is brilliant - you're literally a stones throw away from the incredible beach and surrounded by the beautiful Welsh countryside. We will definitely be back!

The Belmont is GORGEOUS! I’ve stayed in Barmouth once before but this house made it a whole new experience. The kitchen had everything you needed to host/cook for all 15 of us. The cinema, games & pool room made easy work of a rainy day. And the views out of both the front overlooking the vast beachfront and the rear views of the mountains was breathtaking! I would 100% recommend staying here whether it be a family holiday, a works trip or a friends get together
The perfect location, The Belmont is situation across the road from the beach, with beautiful interior, comfy beds and well thought out communal spaces. The hosts have thought of everything you need and Barmouth itself is a treat with pasty shops, a local chippy and a great pub.

Brilliant weekend for son’s 40th birthday. The Belmont is a beautiful building, decorated and cleaned to a high standard. Ideally situated with parking on the doorstep. Lots to see and do in the area. Would recommend to anyone looking for accommodation in this area.
From the moment I booked this house Liz has been excellent at responding to any questions I had. Very smooth process from booking, paying and arriving at this absolutely stunning house. A lovely welcome card and some treats to start our stay. Beds were amazingly comfortable we all had the best sleeps! Kitchen was really well stocked with everything you needed. The house was warm, cosy and incredibly opulent. The decor is just stunning. Location could not be more perfect. We had a ball with my son in law recreating the Traitors game ! Thank you Liz and Rich.
Just returned home from a 4 night stay at the Belmont with our sons their wives the grandchildren and dogs. As everyone has said what a spectacular house. It’s amazing. So spacious. Comfortable beds. Plenty of hot water for showers. And right opposite the beach. It was also very quiet Don’t miss having a walk over the railway bridge.. well worth it. The beach is dog friendly outside the house and the harbour side.. the middle is not during the summer. We had a fabulous meal in the Last Inn on our last night but I’d recommend booking. We would all recommend staying at this wonderful house
We had a wonderful few days at the Belmont. The house was everything we hoped for and so much more. The essence of the Belmont can’t really be captured in photos or descriptions, it’s a feeling when you walk through the door that this place really is something truly special. Everything felt luxurious, the views were stunning, each bedroom had its own unique offering, the basement is just pure wow factor! Location is 10/10 for both views and proximity to Barmouth, we never touched our cars for the duration of our stay. Would definitely return but definitely putting all the kids on the higher floors next time to save our legs 🤣

The Belmont is ideally situated in the centre of Barmouth with everything you want on the doorstep. We had a fabulous week in August, with only one day of colder weather. The house is beautifully decorated, and has plenty of room for an extended family, with the added bonus of getting your steps in with the number of floors! Barmouth itself is a lovely spot, and enjoyed some lovely meals out at Dylan’s (just a 7 minute drive), and the Lobster pot. Overall I would say a great place for a large extended family. Well done Liz and Rich 👍👍👍👍👍

I cannot recommend this accommodation enough.
The rooms are all either a good size or enormous. Decor is beautiful. There was everything we needed right down to dog bowls and although we didn't need it, found a large dog crate too
Is there anything I would change? As we were an all adult party - the bunk bed, but appreciate that kids would love this

Lovely holiday home with lots of space for everyone. Liz our host very helpful and always answers messages quickly. There are lots of stairs so if mobility challenged bear this in mind. I used only bedroom on floor 1 which is also where the lounge is situated if stairs are a problem you wouldn’t want to go higher than this! Property situated in a great spot for beach and all amenities including the railway station if that’s your means of transport.

The beach is directly opposite and it’s absolutely beautiful. Its really clean, with stunning views.

You feel you have stepped back into that period, so much space and light with views to the sea, it genuinely feeds the soul.

We had a lovely stay, the rooms were a good size with comfortable beds. Location is excellent, we travelled by train and it's 2 minutes walk from the station, also convenient for shops, restaurants etc...

Fantastic house, beautifully decorated in keeping with age of house. Great facilities! Great comfy beds, lots of space and ideal location. We had a 21st family celebration. No one had a bad word to say against it. Weather held out had football and cricket in the beach. Town is lovely to wander around in. Great choice of pubs and eating places

Me and my family have just spent the last weekend at the Belmont Barmouth and all I can say is just WOW 🤩 Liz was absolutely amazing in keeping us up to date before arriving with instructions on how to enter the property and various other information. We arrived to a load of goodies waiting for us including chocs, crisps, popcorn,cakes, bread and milk!!! This 9 bedroom house is huge and absolutely beautiful!!! I fell in love with the place straight away and loved the original features of the house. The house is extremely clean and beautifully decorated….my room was the giraffe room which I loved as it was pink and had a huge bay window that I could sit in and look out onto the sea.

House had every think we needed over Christmas and new year . very clean and cosy loved every min spent there with our family and 3 dogs . on the beach every day and night . area lovely few little shops and bars on the doorstop great chippy and kebab house close by. house has a lovely charm xxxx

The house is so beautiful. It’s was an amazing space for 11 family members & 1 pooch to feel like we could not only share our time together but have enough room to get some peace & quiet when needed too.
The location was ideal for our outdoorsy group. The beach is amazing. Meaning we could brave the December sea temperatures and get back to the house for a quick warm up.
Everything we needed was within a 10 minute walk from the front door. Bars, restaurants & shops.

The Belmont was a fantastic place for our large family to celebrate a special birthday. It’s wow from the moment you walk through the door! The decor is stunning, the quality of everything is outstanding and the level of resourcing excellent. Our grandchildren( aged 6 to 11 ) loved the playroom and cinema room . Because they were happy, the adults could really relax and enjoy too. Being right opposite a beautiful beach and next to a lovely little seaside town makes the Belmonts location perfect.

What an amazing place for a get together. There was 17 of us this weekend, a mix of adults and children and I never felt as if we were on top of each other.
Fantastic area for the children to stay together with different things to keep them completely entertained. Loved the pool room too!

An incredible house and wonderful experience! It's a walk across the road to an wonderful sandy beach, great for early morning dips. The house is huge and the rooms are massive. Bed linen is fresh and there's plenty of towels to keep everyone going for weeks. We were made to feel at home every step of the way by our amazing hosts. We even managed to celebrate Canadian thanksgiving using the huge aga stove and we'll stocked kitchen! Wed highly recommend The Belmont when visiting Barmouth, especially for the cinema room and pool table! We had great nights there! 5 star all the way.

Really well equipped & styled throughout. Prefect location for the beach & into town. The cars which couldnt park in the spaces at the front managed to get parked free on road opposite.
The games room was well used in the evening, lots of room for everyone. For those sleeping on the top floor, get your steps in of make sure you have everything with you :)

Just got back from a lovely long weekend with family - Grandparents, children and grandchildren and dogs. House is superb and finished to a very high standard, great location and very well equipped. We had a great time and particularly enjoyed the easy access to the beach and all that Batmouth has to offer. We had 4 cars and a campervan but got parked up no problem. Didn't need them again until we left.

Belmont is a great property with lovely hosts and great location opposite to Barmouth beach. We spent great time with 4 families having 7 kids, 8 adults and a pet. Property is well maintained with plenty of rooms with great beach and church views from all rooms. There is a games room, and hosts also arranged drinks to last few days while we played pools and kids on video games.
Parking could be issue on busy days, but hosts are at hand to resolve any parking problems.

Barmouth we love, but this house made our trip soooo much better. To find a house to accommodate four generations of our family, our children, our dogs was a real treat. The house is filled with everything you could possibility wish for, from a well equipped kitchen to a cool games room complete with an abundance of DVDs, pool table, football table and so much more. The cellar/games room was a real hit with the children. The lounge and sofas gave plenty of room for us all to relax and enjoy the sea views along with the fresh sea air.
The rooms are all beautifully and individually decorated, whether you get a sea view or Mountain View from your window, you’re sure to get a great nights sleep.
The hosts were perfect, hospitable, accommodating when we requested an earlier check in, helped to arrange balloons at the property for our celebration!
The beach is perfect, sections of the beach allow dogs which we frequented three times a day. The beach is beautiful, with golden sands and shells and stones to collect.
Some great restaurants near by, we particularly enjoyed the Fanny Tablot and The Norbar, which offered freshly caught/local sea food. Be sure to pop by the RNLI and support them by going in their shop or just popping by to make a donation. We’ve seen first hand whilst in Barmouth the work they do so please support!
In short, a most enjoyable and memorable family holiday. The only negative is that our stay here wasn’t long enough. We will be back!!!

Wonderful break away at the Belmont, Barmouth. Excellent location, clean, modern house with ample space, decorated beautifully. Lots of fun for the children whatever the weather. Lovely host, very responsive. We will be booking again.
My family and I (17 of us!) Have just had the most wonderful time staying at The Belmont, Barmouth. The house is in a fabulous location opposite the main beach and close to the town centre. The house itself is just fantastic! Beautifully cleaned and superbly decorated throughout it easily catered for us all. The kitchen and dining rooms are well equipped and the front bedrooms all have a sea view. Our children, particularly enjoyed the playroom and cinema in the basement. All in all, this is a superb holiday home, and we will certainly be back. Brendan.
Amazing property, the decor and house is just fantastic. The house has everything you could want including a cinema room, pool table and table football. The house is so close to the beach front, which is such a lovely big beach. Highly recommend for a chilled break in a lovely place. Lots of lovely shops and bars in the town to enjoy too! Great for a break with family or friends.
We absolutely loved staying with our large family at the Belmont Barmouth. This is a gorgeous, sumptuous house with an art deco theme and no expenses spared. The spec is outstanding and we loved the large socialising areas and the cinema room. The house faces a stunning large beach and close by are a range of walking paths, great restaurants, bars and shops. Richard and Liz made us all feel so welcome! Five stars is not enough, we give it 10 stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
We had a wonderful time at The Belmont Barmouth. The house has been renovated to a high standard and made for a truly luxurious break. Add to that the views! Waking up in the morning watching the waves crash onto the beach from your bed was a special treat.
Then heading out of the house into Barmouth, we were amazed what a great town it is. Superb restaurants and bars lovely shops and the beach is simply stunning. Sunset watching with a cocktail can be advised.

The kitchen is a dream, equipped with everything one could possibly need, including two dishwashers, a top-of-the-range oven, and a fridge with a water dispenser. It's clear that no expense was spared in the renovation, and the dedication of the hosts shines through in every aspect of the property.
Located just a stone's throw from the beach and a short walk from town, The Belmont offers the perfect balance of convenience and tranquillity.
